Meet the Chief Motörhead at Bling King and all-round motorbike nut.
With a background as an ex-racer across various two-wheeled machines, I’m thrilled to turn my passion into a business. Having invested in overseas training on the Black Art of Suspension, I’m at my best when immersed in the Art. I’ll be your main point of contact for all your bike accessory, servicing, and repair needs, ensuring your ride gets the top-notch care it deserves.
At Bling King Bikes, we focus on two essential services to keep your motorcycle performing at its peak: Motorcycle Suspension and Tweaks, and comprehensive Motorcycle Services. While we expertly handle all makes and models, BMW motorcycles hold a special place in our workshop. Whether you're fine-tuning your BMW's suspension for optimal handling or ensuring your ride is in top condition with our meticulous servicing, we’re committed to delivering precision, quality, and care. Trust Bling King to maintain your motorcycle’s performance, with a preference for the iconic BMW brand.
Motorcyle Suspension & Tweaks
We cannot boast these facts enough: (Yes, we can like to be moersa clever!)
- We are the only SA Workshop that has trained in Germany (and other countries) in the repairs & servicing of BMW ESA & other makes of shocks, literally!
- We have become the preferred service centre for the BMW LC shock repairs, on account of our training & the replacement parts listing that we have developed over the years with our overseas technical partners. Most BMW Motorrad Dealers (and other clever peeps) use us!
- We not only do the above, but we repair all makes of suspension & forks. Because in South Africa, we break s…. stuff!
- We are an accredited repair centre for brands like Wilbers, YSS, Hyperpro, Bitubo, Showa, KYB, Hagon, Tractive, Touratech, ZF Sachs and other brands like WP & Ohlins. Ag, sommer send it, we’ll make it pretty again!
- Too Short? We have been lowering all makes of bikes for nearly two decades. No matter what you ride, we can make you fit better with either the Wilbers or Hyperpro lowering method. Dual Purpose & Adventure bikes are our specialty! So stop dangling your boots in the air, spend a buck and ride with a smile!
- Remember, with our vast array of quality brands we import, we can help turn your baby into a ride that can handle the curves that you throw at her!
Bottom line - if your bike isn’t handling your k@k, bring it to us and we will make it handle you better!
Motorcycle Servicing
We are not Xenophobic, we just stick to what we love! Our blood is Bavarian Blue!
So, we do shamelessly prefer servicing BMW Adventure bikes. So, bring us your GS or GSA and you will be assured that your baby will get the best love it deserves, from folk that actually do use a torque wrench or two.
Spoiler alert! We only use Liqui-Moly or Motul Oils & Lubricants, if you want anything else used on your bike, call someone else!
